การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนารูปแบบการบริหารงานกิจการนักศึกษา สำหรับการศึกษาในระดับอุดมศึกษาของเอกชน โดยศึกษาและวิเคราะห์เอกสารและงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับปัญหา อุปสรรค โครงสร้าง แนวคิด หลักการการบริหารกิจการนักศึกษาเพื่อกำหนดกรอบการบริหารงานกิจการนักศึกษา และสัมภาษณ์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ซึ่งเป็นผู้ที่มีประสบการณ์เกี่ยวกับการบริหารกิจการนักศึกษาระดับอุดมศึกษาเอกชน มาไม่น้อยกว่า 5 ปี และมีคุณวุฒิไม่ต่ำกว่าปริญญาเอก จำนวน 17 คน โดยใช้เทคนิคเดลฟาย เพื่อนำมาสร้างรูปแบบการบริหารงานกิจการนักศึกษาที่มีประสิทธิภาพ ซึ่งดำเนินการวิจัย 3 ระยะ ดังนี้ ระยะที่ 1 ศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบันและปัญหาของการบริหารกิจการนักศึกษาในสถาบันอุดมศึกษาเอกชน ซึ่งแบ่งเป็น 2 ขั้นตอน คือ 1) ศึกษาเอกสารงานวิจัยเกี่ยวกับการบริหารกิจการนักศึกษาที่มีประสิทธิภาพ สำหรับสถาบันอุดมศึกษาเอกชน โดยการวิเคราะห์และสังเคราะห์เอกสาร 2) ศึกษาสภาพการบริหารงานกิจการนักศึกษาที่มีประสิทธิภาพ สำหรับสถาบันอุดมศึกษาเอกชน โดยการสัมภาษณ์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการบริหารงานกิจการนักศึกษาที่มีประสิทธิภาพ ในสถาบันอุดมศึกษาเอกชน 17 คน ระยะที่ 2 การสร้างรูปแบบการบริหารงานกิจการนักศึกษาที่มีประสิทธิภาพ สำหรับสถาบันอุดมศึกษาเอกชน ระยะที่ 3 ประเมินรูปแบบการบริหารงานกิจการนักศึกษาพัฒนาขึ้น ผลการวิจัยพบว่า รูปแบบการบริหารงานกิจการนักศึกษาที่มีประสิทธิภาพสำหรับการศึกษาในระดับอุดมศึกษาของเอกชน ประกอบด้วยโครงสร้าง 5 ด้าน คือ 1) ปรัชญาของกิจการนักศึกษา 2) นโยบายของกิจการนักศึกษา 3) วัตถุประสงค์ของกิจการนักศึกษา 4) ขอบเขตของกิจการนักศึกษา และ 5) กระบวนการบริหารกิจการนักศึกษา ผลการประเมินรูปแบบที่พัฒนาขึ้นโดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ จำนวน 5 คน พบว่า รูปแบบมีความเหมาะสมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด สามารถนำรูปแบบการบริหารงานกิจการนักศึกษาไปใช้ในสถาบันอุดมศึกษาเอกชนได้
This research aimed to develop a model of student affairs administration for private higher education. The researcher studied and analyzed documents and researches on problems, obstacles, structures, concepts and principles of student affairs administration in order to determine the framework of administrating student affair, and interview 17 experts who have experiences on student affairs administration for private higher education at least 5 years and graduated a doctorate degree. The Delphi technique was applied to develop a quality model of student affairs administration. The research was done in 3 phases Firstly, to study the student affairs administration of private higher education of which was separated into two steps 1) to study the documents and related researches on the efficient student affairs administration for private higher education, and 2) to study the status of the student affairs administration in private higher education by interviewing 17 experts who have experiences on student affair administration for private higher education. Second phase, to create the model of the efficient student affairs administration for private higher education. Third phase, to evaluate a quality of the developed model. The results reveal that the model of efficient student affair administration composes of 5 core segments 1) philosophy of student affairs, 2) policies of student affairs, 3) objectives of student affairs, 4) scope of student affairs, and 5) process of student affairs. The result on an assessment the developed model from 5 experts found that the model has an appropriateness at the highest level which means that the model could be appropriate used in private higher education.
