As a rapidly growing market, China presents a significant opportunity for e-commerce platform services to penetrate its consumer market, which needs development. This study utilizes the Information System Success model to investigate the impact of e-commerce platform service quality on consumers repurchase intentions. Additionally, the study identifies the role of service quality, result quality, and quality of group buying websites in the purchase process of the Chengdu area. The purpose of this study was to investigate the significant difference in Chengdu consumers' repurchase intention on e-commerce platform service quality with different control variables (gender, age, income, occupation, and education); to examine the influencing mechanism of the Chengdu consumers' purchase intention based on perceived e-commerce service quality, the effect of quality, and perceived service quality of group buying websites on e-commerce platform service quality; and to put forward feasible suggestions on e-commerce platform service quality by improving consumers' shopping perceptions, attitudes, and satisfaction. Four hundred thirty completed questionnaires of Chengdu consumers were collected through the online WeChat platform by random sampling between January and February 2023. The results showed that result quality and perceived service quality of group buying websites significantly impacted repurchase intention. In addition, other influencing variables based on functional design, reliable safety, after-sale service, product benefit, product quality, information interaction, website design, payment convenience, and privacy security would also be considered essential for enhancing value for e-commerce platform service quality in consumer repurchase intention.
