Abstract (English)

In the face of competition, Chinese liquor brands needed to speed up brand building and the pace of internationalization, which would be essential issues related to the sustainable growth of the Chinese liquor industry. The consensus of the Chinese liquor industry started to actively explore overseas markets and carry out international brand management through applicable marketing strategies in building solid global brandings. Chinese liquor brands had not reached an international level that the international markets could recognize. Moreover, there would be a big gap between the brand marketing strategy and brand management philosophy in arousing the interest of foreign customers. Therefore, the theme of this study was to explore the purchase intention of Guizhou consumers in recognizing the internationalization strategy of local liquor through trust, identity, and value. The purpose of this study was to investigate the significant difference in purchase intention with different control variables (gender, age, occupation, and income) for the influence of the liquor product internationalization strategy in Guizhou; to examine the influencing mechanism of the Guizhou consumer purchase intention in trust, identity, and perceived value based on the product internationalization strategy; and to put forward feasible suggestions on the liquor product internationalization strategy through the consumers' attitudes and satisfaction in pleasure and enjoyment in the consumption experience. Three hundred eighty-nine completed questionnaires of Guizhou consumers were collected through the online WeChat platform by random sampling in February 2023. The results showed trust, sense of identity, and perceived value significantly impacted purchase intention. Additional influencing variables based on social responsibility, expected confirmation, reputation, popularity, service value, and price value would also be essential for establishing the standard of internationalization brand to enhance local purchase satisfaction and loyalty.
