With the development of society and the economy, the continuous enrichment of people's material and spiritual life made pets become companions and emotional sustenance. Not only were dogs and cats considered pet owners they would also seek more exotic pets. With the changes in China's economic structure, the population started to live alone in cities and towns, and population structures such as aging and declining birthrates gradually appeared. In the future, the demand for companionship with pets would strengthen, and there would be room for further improvement in the penetration rate of domestic pets in Sichuan. The continuous increase in the number of pets and the penetration rate of pet ownership would lay a solid foundation for the sustainable development of the pet medical market. The purpose of this study was to investigate the significant difference in consumer loyalty on service quality with different control variables (gender, age, income, and experience with pets); to examine the influencing mechanism of the Sichuan consumers' customer loyalty based on service quality, perceived value, and perceived behavior; and to put forward feasible suggestions on the quality service of the veterinary hospital by improving pet owners' attitudes and perceptions of sustainable loyalty. Four hundred thirty-six completed questionnaires of Sichuan consumers were collected through the online WeChat platform by random sampling in February 2023. The results showed that service quality, perceived value, and perceived behavior significantly impacted consumer loyalty. Further suggestions in establishing pet owners' loyalty based on tangibility, reliability, infectiousness, price awareness, monetary value, service value, information concern, and emotional preference significantly impacted the service perception in veterinary hospital service.
