School culture and effective school management were essential to teachers' job satisfaction. This study explored the school management culture that led to teachers' job satisfaction in Sichuan public secondary schools. Three validated tools were developed to measure school culture, management functions, and job satisfaction based on the perception of teaching employees. The purpose of this study was to explore the significant difference in job satisfaction among teachers and staff of public high schools in Sichuan under different demographic variable groups; to investigate the influencing factors of career development, role pressure, the job itself, organizational pressure, organizational culture, superior leadership, organizational climate, working conditions, and salary satisfaction significantly impact job satisfaction; and to evaluate and suggest feasible suggestions for improving effective school management for a better teacher and staff job satisfaction in Sichuan public high schools. Four hundred and three completed questionnaires of Sichuan secondary school teachers were collected through the online WeChat platform by random sampling in June 2022. The results showed that all influencing factors impact teachers' job satisfaction in their job engagement with respective secondary school teaching works. Further suggestions were made for improving teacher job satisfaction and retention to avoid school human resources turmoil.
