Deyang city retirees faced challenges in planning for medical and nursing integrated management, as evidenced by trends toward a decision for such a service. Medical institutions could foster innovative models for retiree selection intention for their needs. This study examined the influencing factors under the medical and nursing integrated management of subjective norms, behavioral attitude, and perceptual behavior control to retirees' selection intention. Evidence suggested essential personal and social consequences associated with inadequate retirement planning for retirees with the proper decision-making. The purpose of this study was to explore the significant difference in Deyang city elderly retirees' selecting intention of integrated medical-care management among different demographic variable groups; examine the influence of integrated medical-care management on elderly retirees' selecting intentions in Deyang city, and put forward feasible suggestions for the improvement of integrated medical-care management on elderly retirees selecting intent in Deyang city. Four hundred and twenty completed questionnaires of Guilin elderly retirees were collected through the online WeChat platform by random sampling in July and August 2022. The results showed that all influencing factors impacted elderly retirees in medical-care selection intention through the promotion of integrated medical-care management. Further suggestions were made to enhance the policies and management of integrated medical-care services for improving elderly retirees' usage perception and satisfaction.
