Abstract (English)

This research aimed to study 1) marketing strategies that influence opinions about non-life insurance, 2) the decision to become a non-life insurance sales agent, and 3) strategies that influence the decision to sale non-life insurance. The sample group consisted of 400 licensed non-life insurance brokers in Bangkok. The statistic used for data analysis were percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation, testing the hypothesis of variance by finding the difference of means, and comparing the difference of each pair using LSD. The level of relationship between marketing strategies affecting the decision to apply for non-life insurance was tested using multiple regression analysis. The study found that 1) marketing strategies had a high level of influence on opinions about non-life insurance, 2) the decision to become a non-life insurance agent had a high level of opinion, and the non-life insurance sales were not different, and 3) marketing strategies had a statistically significant effect on the decision to become a non-life insurance agent of licensed non-life insurance brokers in Bangkok at .01 level. The five marketing strategies: aware, appeal, ask, act, and advocate could jointly explain the change in decision to become a non-life insurance agent of licensed non-life insurance brokers in Bangkok at 7.70 percent, with a statistically significant at .01.
