An effective development mode would be indispensable to solving the decline of rural development, and the rural economy could be a critical approach to poverty alleviation and revitalization in Guizhou. The comparative analysis of the rural areas awarded by the Guizhou government showed that the general economic development mode with the integration of commerce and production realized the sustainable economy of the rural regions. Three objectives of this study were to explore the influencing factors on rural economic development affecting Guizhou workers' home-returning indentation based on the demographic variables of gender, age, and education; investigate the influencing factors on rural economic development involving Guizhou workers' home-returning indentation based on working conditions, social security, industrial model, infrastructural facility, development opportunity, rural cognition, and public propaganda, and; evaluate and suggest feasible suggestions for improving rural economic development policy for the decision of home returning intention for Guizhou migrant workers. Four hundred seventy-one questionnaires from Guizhou returned workers were collected through the online WeChat platform by random sampling in June 2022. The results showed working treatment, social security, industrial model, infrastructural facility, development opportunity, rural cognition, and public propaganda significantly impact home returning intention. This study's outcome could give different viewpoints to policymakers on developing proper rural economic development strategies in attracting Guizhou workers' home return decisions.
