In China, the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) market got colossal development potential, and the fast-moving consumer goods industry developed rapidly almost in every region. However, the problem of personnel loss among employees in the fast-moving goods industry and an imbalance between supply and demand for employees in the fast-moving goods industry appeared severe due to the work stability. Therefore, building a stable talent team in the fast-moving goods industry would mean an urgent need for developing the mean goods and service industry. Therefore, based on the occupational anchor theory, this research took place in Guangzhou, its massive base of the FMCG market in China. This study's objectives were exploring the specific situation of the occupational stability of employees based on their income in the fast-moving industry in Guangzhou; analyzing the influence of the working environment, salary and benefits, career development, interpersonal relationship, cognitive identity, emotional identity, and behavioral identity on occupational stability, and suggesting the improvement of the occupational stability of employees in the fast-moving goods industry in Guangzhou. Four hundreds and forty-three questionnaires of Guangzhou FMCG-related employees were collected through the online WeChat platform by random sampling in May 2022. The results showed that working environment, salary and benefits, career development, interpersonal relationships, cognitive identity, emotional identity, and behavioral identity significantly impact FMCG occupational stability. As a result, this study identified the expectation of FMCG employees in occupational stability that would affect the further development of the industry operated through proper human resources management.
