Abstract (English)

Co-branding became an increasingly popular strategy in the fast-food industry. Co- branding can generally be defined as several brands collaborating in technology development, marketing, or production while keeping their independence as separate business entities. Analysis would be designed to examine the effects of co-branding fast- food strategy on consumer purchase intention, such as customer loyalty and purchase patterns in popular local fast-food restaurants in Chengdu. Co-branding could be defined as several brands collaborating in technology development, marketing, or production while keeping their independence as separate business entities. This study would be designed to examine the effects of co-branding fast-food strategy on consumer purchase intention, such as customer loyalty and purchase patterns in local popular fast food restaurants in Chengdu.; investigate the co-branding strategy based on the influencing images of culture, logo, corporation, product/service, personalization, and symbol impacting purchase intention, and; evaluate and suggest feasible suggestions for improving the fast-food co- branding strategy influencing Chengdu consumer purchase intention. Four hundreds and ninety-four questionnaires from Chengdu customers were collected through the online WeChat platform by random sampling in June 2022. The results showed that cultural image, logo image, corporate image, product/service image, personalized image, and symbol image significantly impact consumer purchase intention through co-branding strategy. This study's result could offer different views of consumers' preferences in using fast-food chains' co-branding for better image perception.
