The coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic resulted in significant delays and cost overran on construction projects. Implementing construction training would be one of the most important strategies to mitigate the adverse impact of COVID-19 on Beijing's construction industry and helped the sector adapt to the new normal. The evaluation for the adoption of training strategies would be imminently for pandemic management in the construction sector amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This study's objectives focused on analyzing the study intention of the second-level constructor training courses among the applicants of different demographic variables in Beijing; exploring the effect of influencing factors of the second-level constructor training courses in Beijing, and; evaluating countermeasures for developing better training policies based on student perceptions for the second-level constructor training courses in Beijing. Four hundred and twenty-two completed questionnaires of Beijing construction employees were collected through the online WeChat platform by random sampling in May 2022. The results showed that subjective norms, perceived value, and behavioral attitudes significantly impact youth work engagement. As a result, this study could serve as information for Beijing construction training institutions in formulating the right policies and strategies to attract study intention for construction training courses.
