With the rapid development of the market economy, traditional advertising methods could not adapt to technology's fast-paced growth. Advertisers needed to abandon backward thinking models and used more scientific and practical advertising methods. Precision marketing brought convenience and efficiency, but it also caused privacy concerns as the marketing campaign would automatically take up user personal information for future marketing activities. Online users in Zhuhai City were the first group in China to raise their privacy concerns when they encountered precision media. A quantitative survey was designed with three independent variables of user experience factor, new media platform, and online information in exploring the relationship with the privacy concern of the current development of precision media in the Zhuhai area. Through the effective online WeChat survey platform, 416 respondents from Zhuhai City revealed that user experience, new media platform, and online information positively affected the privacy concern of using precision media. The results offered online users a better understanding of the privacy issue on media viewing could take out their private information without their consent and provide more insights with better considerations for using precision media in the future.
