การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบการตัดสินใจเลือกส่งบุตรหลานของผู้ปกครองเข้าศึกษาต่อในโรงเรียนเอกชน ในเขตพื้นที่อำเภอบางปะอิน จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา จำแนกตามเพศ อายุ ระดับการศึกษา อาชีพ รายได้ของครอบครัวและจำนวนบุตรที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ ผู้ปกครองของนักเรียนโรงเรียนเอกชนในเขตพื้นที่อำเภอบางปะอิน จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา จำนวน 416 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลเป็นแบบสอบถาม มาตราส่วนประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ สถิติที่ใช้วิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบที การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว และการเปรียบเทียบค่าเฉลี่ยรายคู่ ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1. การตัดสินใจเลือกส่งบุตรหลานของผู้ปกครองเข้าศึกษาต่อในโรงเรียนเอกชนในเขตพื้นที่อำเภอบางปะอิน จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก เมื่อพิจารณารายด้าน พบว่า ผู้ปกครองนักเรียนมีการตัดสินใจอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด คือ ด้านครูผู้สอน 2. การตัดสินใจเลือกส่งบุตรหลานของผู้ปกครองเข้าศึกษาต่อในโรงเรียนเอกชนในเขตพื้นที่อำเภอบางปะอิน จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา จำแนกตามเพศและจำนวนบุตรที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ พบว่า ผู้ปกครองที่มีเพศและมีจำนวนบุตรที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่แตกต่างกันมีการตัดสินใจเลือกส่งบุตรหลานเข้าศึกษาต่อในโรงเรียนเอกชนในเขตพื้นที่อำเภอบางปะอิน จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา ไม่แตกต่างกัน จำแนกตามอายุ พบว่า มีการตัดสินใจที่แตกต่างกันด้านหลักสูตรและการจัดการเรียนรู้ จำแนกตามระดับการศึกษามีการตัดสินใจที่แตกต่างกันด้านสภาพแวดล้อมของโรงเรียน จำแนกตามอาชีพมีการตัดสินใจที่แตกต่างกันด้านค่าใช้จ่าย จำแนกตามรายได้ของครอบครัวมีการตัดสินใจที่แตกต่างกันในด้านสภาพแวดล้อมของโรงเรียน ด้านค่าใช้จ่ายและด้านครูผู้สอนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .05
The purposes of this research were to study and compare parents' decision to sending their children to private schools in Bang Pa-In, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province classified by gender, age, level of education, occupation, family income and the number of children currently studying. The samples used in this research were 146 parents of private schools students in Bang Pa-In District at Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The instrument used for data collection was a 5-scale rating questionnaire. The statistics used to analyze the data were frequency, percentage, mean, Standard deviation, t-test, One-way ANOVA or F test, and Least significant difference (LSD). The research results found that 1\. The parents' decision making on sending their children to private schools in Bang Pa-In District at Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province in overall was at a high level. When considering each aspect found that parents of students had decision making was at the highest level with the most emphasis on teachers and gave a high-level decision making. 2\. Parents' decision making on sending their children to private schools in Bang Pa-In District at Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province classified by gender and number of children found that gender and number of children different have decided to send their children to private schools in Bang Pa-in District at Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province not different, classified by age found that there was different decisions in curriculum and learning management, classified by education level there are different decisions in the school environment, classified by occupation there are different in costs decisions, classified by family income found different decisions in the school environment cost and teachers. It was statistically significant different at the .05 level.
