การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบการตัดสินใจของผู้ปกครองนักเรียน ในการส่งบุตรหลานเข้าศึกษาในโรงเรียนนานาชาติสิริปัญญา อำเภอเกาะพะงัน จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี จำแนกตามอาชีพและระดับการศึกษาของผู้ปกครองนักเรียน กลุ่มตัวอย่างใช้ในการวิจัย คือ ผู้ปกครอง ของนักเรียน โรงเรียนนานาชาติสิริปัญญา อำเภอเกาะพะงัน จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี จำนวน 108 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลเป็นแบบสอบถามมาตราส่วนประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ (Linkert Rating Scale) จำนวน 37 ข้อ สถิติที่ใช้วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าที่ (t-test) และการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว (One-way ANOVA) ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1\. การตัดสินใจของผู้ปกครองในการส่งบุตรหลานเข้าศึกษาในโรงเรียนนานาชาติสิริปัญญา โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้าน พบว่า ผู้ปกครองนักเรียนมีการตัดสินใจอยู่ในระดับ มาก 6 ด้าน โดยให้ความสำคัญในด้านวิชาการมากที่สุด ให้ความสำคัญในด้านกายภาพอยู่ในอันดับ รองลงมา และให้ความสำคัญในด้านความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างโรงเรียนกับชุมชน และโรงเรียนกับผู้ปกครอง น้อยที่สุด ตามลำดับ 2\. เปรียบเทียบการตัดสินใจส่งบุตรหลานเข้าศึกษาในโรงเรียนนานาชาติสิริปัญญา อำเภอ เกาะพะงัน จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี จำแนกตามอาชีพ พบว่า ด้านอาคารสถานที่ แตกต่างกันอย่างมี นัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 ส่วนโดยรวมและด้านอื่น ๆ ไม่แตกต่างกัน และจำแนกตามระดับ การศึกษาของผู้ปกครอง พบว่า ระดับการศึกษาต่างกันมีการตัดสินใจเลือกส่งบุตรหลานเข้าศึกษาใน โรงเรียนนานาชาติสิริปัญญา โดยรวมและรายด้าน 6 ด้าน แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 โดยกลุ่มผู้ปกครองที่มีการศึกษาในระดับปริญญาตรี และกลุ่มผู้ปกครองที่มีระดับการศึกษาสูงกว่า ปริญญาตรี มีการตัดสินใจเลือกส่งบุตรหลานเข้าศึกษาในโรงเรียนนานาชาติสิริปัญญาสูงกว่ากลุ่ม ผู้ปกครองที่มีการศึกษาต่ำกว่าระดับปริญญาตรี
The purpose of this research was to study and compare the decision of parents to send children to study at Siripanya International School in Koh Phangan District, Suratthani Province classified by occupation and education level. The samples used in the research were 108 parents of the students of Siripanya International School in Koh Phangan District, Suratthani Province. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire with 5 rating scales (Linkert Rating Scale), 37 items. The statistics used for data analysis were mean, Standard Deviation, t-test and One-way ANOVA. The results showed that 1\. Decision of parents to send children to study at Siripanya International School found that in overall was at a high level when considering each aspect found that the parents give the high importance 6 aspects: the most academic importance, placing physical priorities at the bottom and attach importance to the relationship between the school and the community and schools with the least parents, respectively. 2\. Comparing the decision of parents to send children to study at Siripanya International School in Koh Phangan District, Suratthani Province classified by occupation found that building statistically significant different at .05 level, except in overall and 5 aspects no different, education level found that in overall and 6 aspects statistically significant different at .05 level by the parents have the highest education at the bachelor degree level and higher than the Bachelor's degree of the parents had decision to send children to study at Siripanya International School higher than the parents who had education below the bachelor's degree.
