การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาเจตคติของนักเรียนจ่าอากาศที่มีต่อคุณลักษณะ ที่พึงประสงค์ของครูผู้สอนที่โรงเรียนจ่าอากาศ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักเรียนจ่าอากาศ ชั้นปีที่ 1 ชั้นปีที่ 2 และชั้นปีที่ 3 ที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ในภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2554 รวมทั้งสิ้น 292 คน โดยใช้แบบสอบถาม สำรวจเจตคติของนักเรียนจ่าอากาศที่มีต่อ คุณลักษณะที่พึงประสงค์ของครู ประกอบด้วย 1) ด้านการสอน 2) ด้านวิชาการ 3) ด้านสุขภาพกายและจิต 4) ด้านมนุษยสัมพันธ์ 5) ด้านคุณธรรมและจริยธรรม 6) ด้านบุคลิกลักษณะ 7) ด้านการอบรมและการปกครอง และ 8) ด้านการเป็นพลเมืองดีในสังคมประชาธิปไตย การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้ ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และ t–test ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ระดับเจตคติของนักเรียนจ่าอากาศ โรงเรียนจ่าอากาศ ที่มีต่อคุณลักษณะของครูที่ พึงประสงค์ทั้ง 8 ด้าน ได้แก่ ด้านการสอน ด้านวิชาการ ด้านสุขภาพกายและจิต ด้านมนุษยสัมพันธ์ ด้านคุณธรรมและความประพฤติ ด้านบุคลิกลักษณะ ด้านการอบรมและการปกครอง และด้านการเป็นพลเมืองดีในสังคมประชาธิปไตย โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก เมื่อพิจารณาในแต่ละด้าน พบว่า เจตคติของนักเรียน จ่าอากาศที่มีต่อด้านบุคลิกลักษณะ มีระดับสูงที่สุด รองลงมาคือ ด้านการอบรมและการปกครอง ในขณะที่เจตคติของนักเรียนจ่าอากาศ ที่มีต่อด้านวิชาการ มีระดับต่ำที่สุด
This study was conducted to survey students’ attitude toward the desirable characteristics of teachers of the Air Technical Training School (ATTS). The samples in this study were totally 292 Air Technical students (ATS) who had been studying in the second term of academic year 2011 (1st, 2nd, and 3rd year students) at the ATTS. The data were gathered by a set of questionnaire inquiring aspects of desirable characteristics of teachers working at the ATTS including; 1) teaching, 2) academic background, 3) physical and mental health, 4) human relations, 5) morality and behavior, 6) personality, 7) training, and supervising, and 8) good citizen of a democratic society. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics; frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The results revealed that As the results of the study, in overall, most ATS desired all teacher’s characteristics which include teaching, academic background, physical, and mental health, human relations, morality, and behavior, personality, training and supervising, and good citizen of a democratic society. These all aspects were rated as high level. However, when each item was considered, the most desirable characteristics were personality, followed by training and supervising. The least desirable characteristic was an academic aspect.
