การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการอ่านของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 โรงเรียนเปร็งวิสุทธาธิบดี ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 โรงเรียนเปร็ง วิสุทธาธิบดี จำนวนทั้งหมด 152 คน โดยใช้เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูลเป็นแบบสอบถาม โดยรวบรวมข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับพฤติกรรมการอ่าน ซึ่งมีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.95 ทำการรวบรวมข้อมูลในช่วงวันที่ 6-13 กุมภาพันธ์ 2555 และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1. โดยภาพรวมในตอนที่ 1 พบว่า นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 โรงเรียนเปร็งวิสุทธาธิบดี มีพฤติกรรมการอ่าน ดังนี้ 1) ความชื่นชอบในการอ่าน นักเรียนส่วนใหญ่ชอบอ่านหนังสือพิมพ์มากที่สุด 2) เวลาที่ใช้ในการอ่าน นักเรียนส่วนใหญ่จะอ่านหนังสือนาน 15 นาที/วัน มากที่สุด และ 3) แรงกระตุ้นและแรงจูงใจในการอ่าน นักเรียนส่วนใหญ่ได้รับแรงกระตุ้นและแรงจูงใจในการอ่านจาก พ่อ แม่ มากที่สุด 2. โดยภาพรวมในตอนที่ 2 พบว่า นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 โรงเรียนเปร็งวิสุทธาธิบดี มีพฤติกรรมการอ่านโดยรวม อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง
The objective of this study was to explore reading behavior in M.S. 1 students of Prengwisuttatibodee school. The population comprised 152 M.S. 1 students of Prengwisuttatibodee school. Questionnaire was used as a research instrument to collect the data on their reading behaviors. The coefficient of reliability was at 0.95. The data were collected during 6-13 February 2012. Data analysis employed descriptive statistics including percentage, mean, and Standard Deviation. The research results were as follows 1. In overall, the M.S.1 students of Prengwisuttatibodee school exhibited the following reading behavior 1) Reading preference the majority of students preferred reading newspapers. 2) Time spent for reading the majority of these students spent 15 minutes per day for reading. 3) Reading stimulation and motivation the majority of students received reading stimulation and motivation mostly from parents. 2. In overall, the M.S.1 students of Prengwisuttatibodee school demonstrated moderate level of reading behavior.
