การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการอ่านจับใจความ ภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่4 ระหว่างก่อนและหลังการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบเมอร์ด็อค กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่4/3A โรงเรียนมารดานุสรณ์ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดตราด จำนวน 26 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบเมอร์ด็อค จำนวน 12 แผน และแบบวัดความสามารถในการอ่านจับใจความภาษาอังกฤษ แบบปรนัยชนิดเลือกตอบ 4 ตัวเลือก จำนวน 30 ข้อ มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ .87 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และ t-test dependent sample ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1. ความสามารถในการอ่านจับใจความภาษาอังกฤษ ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่4 ภายหลังการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบเมอร์ด็อค นักเรียนมีคะแนนที่ระดับดี ขึ้นไป ร้อยละ 80.77 ของจำนวน นักเรียนทั้งหมด 2. ความสามารถในการอ่านจับใจความภาษาอังกฤษ ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่4 ภายหลังการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบเมอร์ด็อค สูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
The purposes of this research were to study and compare the English comprehensive reading ability of Prathomsuksa 4 students between before and after using Murdoch Learning Management. The sample group was 26 students of Prathomsuksa 4/3A, Mandanuson School, Muang District, Trat Province. Research instruments used in this study were 12 instructional plans and 30 items of comprehensive ability test in English. The test was a multiple-choice test which had a reliability of .87. The statistics for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test dependent sample. The results were as follows: 1. The English comprehension reading ability of the students in Prathomsuksa 4 after using Murdoch Learning Management was higher than good rate 80.77 percent of all students. 2. The English comprehension reading ability of the students in Prathomsuksa 4 after using Murdoch Learning Management was higher than before using Murdoch Learning Management at the .05 level of significance.
